How lovely it was to return to New York once again for BDNY 2025!
The week began with a warm pre-fair gathering at one of Parla’s dearest projects: Aqua New York. From there, the energy carried straight into the two-day event, where the Parla booth drew great interest and visitors throughout the fair.
As we celebrate our 5th year at the event, this year’s presence at BDNY marked a dynamic moment for Parla, as it drew strong interest specifically from both talented designers and operators. It was also a real pleasure to reconnect with our incredible independent representatives from across the US.
As one of more than 600 exhibitors presenting furniture, lighting, textiles, surfaces, and hotel technologies, Parla contributed to a dynamic environment that offered a clear look at the trends shaping the industry today and those set to define its future.
Parla’s Owner Director Burak Oztuncman observed that attendance felt noticeably stronger compared to previous editions.
He adds, “Each year, BDNY gets better as our network grows and Parla’s presence in the US continues to expand. We’re already looking forward to next year and to building even more meaningful connections!”
This year’s collection of immersive Designed Spaces at BDNY, where spaces were transformed into full-scale, walk-through experiences by internationally acclaimed architecture studios, included “La Clairière” by design studio Saguez & Dash, Snowy Retreat in the Heart of New York from Apartments by Marriott designed by Mazzarini & Co, “The Alchemist” by architecture studio Aria Group, MIDNIGHT GARDEN by DesignAgency and Studio DA and finally, THE SPLASH PAD by DREAM Hotels and Nivek Remas.
Sustainability also took center stage, with designers spotlighting recycled materials, responsible production, and thoughtful, low-impact design strategies.
With its mix of trendsetting installations and fruitful networking, BDNY 2025 reaffirmed its place as the go-to destination for the hospitality community!
