Industrial Designer

Originally from Bursa, Tuğçe studied Industrial Design at Bilgi University in Istanbul. Upon graduation, she started as an intern at Hamm Design, where she worked for three years, specialising in furniture sales and project design. To expand her knowledge in the manufacturing process, she joined Parla in 2022. 

During her university years, Tuğçe particularly enjoyed spending time in the workshop, which inspired her to become more involved in the production side of design — now her main source of motivation as a designer. 

Most of the things that impress and inspire her carry a story and a process behind them. Her designs aim to provide an embracing experience for the user by incorporating rounded shapes, plush accents, sustainable materials and minimalism to evoke feelings of serenity and tenderness.
