It has been really great for us at Parla to have the opportunity to adorn the Archiproducts Showroom with Parla Collection items since Milan Design Week in April, and we wanted to share a
recap of our products’ journey with you!
Archiproducts Milano is a renowned creative hub in the design world. The Milan showroom is eclectic, never the same, and continuously hosts exhibitions and creative displays from designers and companies all over the world. The welcoming hub for architects and interior designers helps find solutions for hospitality projects and many more.
From furniture collections to kitchen finishes, all are on display to be purchased, or simply be of inspiration to all creatives.
The grandiose 16-room showroom, at via Tortona 31, is renewed each year with a different theme and curation. Now, we are also proud to have been exhibiting some of our dearest products, each with a unique story, in the showroom throughout 2024.
So what products did we choose to showcase at Archiproducts?
Loop, The Hug armchair and pieces from the Palm collection were selected to be featured in the 2024 theme, namely The Aqua Exhibition, curated by Studiopepe for Archiproducts. The exhibition’s theme drew inspiration from water, symbolising the fluidity of design and highlighting reflective surfaces.
LOOP: Starting the year strong, in January, our beloved Loop collection in collaboration with NYbased design studio GOODRICH successfully launched at IMM Cologne. The round-edged sofa and lounge chair created a cozy yet trendy take on communal area seating, for lobbies and lounges.
In this collaboration, the technical know-how of Parla aligned perfectly with the vision of GOODRICH’s Hines Fischer and Matthew Goodrich, to put forward a soft, playful and characteristic design.
We are certain that the collection was a hit and, after its launch in Cologne, made its way to Milan Design Week in April.
Since then, the Loop collection has held its place at the Archiproducts showroom to be appreciated and observed. But that isn’t all!
PALM: A Collection that was designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte features a range of stools, seats, daybeds and low tables, and was very fitting for the theme. The collection’s deep navy colours
excelled in establishing the contrast between contemporary and traditional, whilst going along with the concept of reflective surfaces in terms of fabric choice. The collection’s diverse and versatile set of furniture can be adaptable to both indoor and outdoor use, which goes hand in hand with what fluidity is all about. Parla, coming forward with its know-how in metal finishings, helped create Wilmotte’s vision into reality, and we are proud of its recognition by Archiproducts.
HUG: Another inviting piece, the Hug Armchair was also chosen for the exhibition. Designed by one of our very own, the Head of the Design Team, Betul İnci. With its impressive oak base and
textural fabric, the design won the German Design Award 2024. The ergonomic armchair conveys comfort in simplicity, symbolizing the fluidity of design very well.
Coming towards the end of 2024, we are continuing to enjoy and be honoured by the recognition of our products’ story by Archiproducts.
With thanks to and hopes of collaborating with Archiproducts again in the upcoming year!
