You may know Gordon Ramsay from Hell’s Kitchen, where he gives contestants “hell” in the kitchen… Or from Kitchen Nightmares, where he visits “nightmare kitchens” and amps them up.
Ramsay’s fame is not only limited to appearances on TV but also to his plethora of restaurants worldwide. Being one of them, Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay marked his first foray into sushi and Asian cuisine.
Previously in 2019, Parla worked with Ramsay’s brand to furnish the chain’s London branch, located in Mayfair. We were fortunate enough to be part of this one-of-a-kind culinary journey in the US at another one of its locations, close to Miami South Beach.
Opened in 2024, Lucky Cat marked our first project in Miami. In collaboration with Aria Group Architects, Parla delivered loose and fixed furniture, banquette seating and joinery for the restaurant. The theme reflected the restaurant’s cuisine, with Asian accents in wall decor and elegantly dark furniture with hints of red.
A special Chef’s Table is available upon request, offering guests an immersive experience at the sushi station, led by experienced chefs offering an even more special dining experience. It has been really great to have a hand in crafting the atmosphere for Gordon Ramsay’s brand.
Head of Regional Sales at Parla, Banu İncedere, says similar furniture designs from Lucky Cat’s London branch have been reused proving that the style employed has been a success. “The client reached out to us for this project as well, as they were happy with the previous one. We are proud to say that this is another one of our repeat customers” said Banu.
Overall, our experience in the US market served Parla well during this project. We look forward to continuing to expand our clientele in North America with the Lucky Cat experience under our belt!
We are feeling ‘lucky’ indeed!
