The BoTree London

July 1, 2026

One of London’s newest and chicest luxury hotels, BoTree has added flair to the centre of the city.

Sprinkling ritz and razzmatazz to Marylebone, the hotel is attracting guests with its promise of ‘conscious luxury’, personalised service and beautifully designed rooms. With a great location, 30 suites and 199 bedrooms, it is a smart choice for anyone who would like to be a stone’s throw away from the action but also in a calm neighbourhood setting.

Previously a car park the hotel’s name is a play on the spiritual bodhi tree, the fig tree that Buddha sat underneath to meditate and achieve enlightenment. In line with this there are fig motifs dotted all around the hotel from the artwork to the steel girders climbing around the hotel entrance.

The result we see at BoTree is a harmonious coming together of brilliant minds such as Shiva Hotels, EPR Architects, Concrete, Tao Group and needless to say Parla.

Exemplifying world-class living, stylish interiors designed by Amsterdam-based designers Concrete, bring together colourful, natural fabrics with eclectic textures. The ‘London Village’ life Marylebone is so famous for is brought into the hotel, thanks to the thoughtful design that intuitively guides guests through a journey that extends the very essence of the street into the heart of the hotel. Marylebone is stylish and elegant yet different from other high-end districts because of its close-knit community feeling. Stepping into the hotel, you become part of the Marylebone neighbourhood and its bohemian lifestyle.

Parla was privileged to be asked to add its expertise in three areas of the hotel: BoTree Bar, Lavo Restaurant and the soon to be opened nightclub. Creating comfort with style in seating is very important and that is what we focussed on achieving in this project.

In the Botree Bar we created seating to complement the Mayfair chic look in timeless elegant surroundings.

In the Italian Lavo Restaurant which is making a name for its sophisticated coastal style, we crafted booth seating that brings exquisite craftsmanship that juxtaposes wood and upholstery to life.

More seating is yet to be revealed in the nightclub.

The culinary aspects of BoTree are being run by Tao Group Hospitality, who in 2021 acquired Hakkasan Group and is also the owner of many dining and nightlife venues including Tao, Marquee, Beauty & Essex, Cathédrale, Little Sister, Omnia, Koma and more. Lavo Restaurant was first opened in Los Angeles, and now has the opportunity to offer delightful treats for the senses in London with delicious dishes and drinks.

All in all for us, it was a real pleasure to work on this project, side by side with Concrete, learning from their creative approach to interiors that aims to provoke, philosophise and shatter dogmas. With a drive to put people before buildings, Concrete develop concepts that are living, breathing and inspiring. Working with a like minded company like Concrete helps us to strengthen the culture we have developed at Parla, where new ideas, innovation and collaboration have become keys to our success.

A cracker of a hotel in the middle of a little enclave of quiet and charm, right at the edge of the bustling streets of West London which has been famously home to many celebrities, in the past and in the present, from Sherlock Holmes and Charles Dickens to the Beatles and Madonna, BoTree is set to fuse into the scene effortlessly.
