Parla, the designer and manufacturer of furniture for the hospitality sector, has chosen Clerkenwell Design Week to reveal its new collection. This will include: Flento Bar Stool; Rain Small Console – the first in what will be a range of elegant storage solutions; Hug Coffee Table – the latest addition to the family of curvaceous Hug pieces; and Morwi A Chair designed for outdoor use.

In addition, the company will be presenting its Rimo Armchair which, earlier this year, won a Bigsee Product Award and Nigiri A Chair, winner of a Good Design Award from the Chicago Athaneum: Museum of Architecture & Design, together with Arven, its best-selling bar stool to date, Xaylon W Armchair, a refined statement piece designed by David Fox, and a custom-designed bar counter showcasing Parla’s craftmanship and manufacturing prowess in the creation of unique items of furniture.
New Branding
Parla’s decision to exhibit for at CDW for the first time was influenced not only by the opportunity to reveal its latest collection but by the appeal of launching its new branding at one of the UK’s largest gatherings of the international design community. Betul Inci, Head of Design at Parla, explains: “We will be showcasing the new chapter of Parla as a design-oriented company with a sophisticated manufacturing capability which has proved itself again and again as a ‘Solution Partner’ for its clients and design partners.
