A rock’n’roller of a venue, Stereo Covent Garden has rooted its position in central London as the place to be and be seen for cocktails, music, fun and frolics.
One of international hospitality brand Experimental Group’s projects, Stereo is both cool and chic at the same time, offering a relaxed vibe to an ever demanding clientele, and still very popular since its opening 2 years ago.
Getting the right balance is never easy, but Stereo has achieved this, with the interior decor, the Kitchen lead by chef Andrew Clarke, the Bar offering an interesting array of drinks to include micro breweries and micro distillers’ drinks to make high end cocktails and an eclectic mix of live music & DJ sets.
Parla was tasked to craft the loose furniture and booth seating for the Stereo Covent Garden project.
Working alongside our repeat client, design company Afroditi on this project, further to projects such as Lucky Cat and Humo, we enjoyed the process immensely. The fact that we have built a strong, mutually satisfying working relationship showed throughout the project. “A long time friend, Parla , who has been assisting us in producing our bespoke pieces throughout the years, making them exactly how we wanted, we can’t thank them enough for it. “ said one of the designers from Afroditi.
Celebrated for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the Experimental Group thrive on discovering valuable gems from within small producer communities, whether in food, spirits or wines. Seasonal sourcing and making sure there is quirk to their offering, their venues stand out in an environment where customers are tired of the banality of franchised offerings.
Their approach is very much in line with our ethos at Parla: to source the best materials, designers and crafts people to help us manufacture beautiful pieces of furniture. The dynamism that this offers us is infectious and what gets us going every time a project like this arrives on our desks.

The bar offers indoor and outdoor seating, with comfortable leather chairs and booths, and a terrace area for al fresco drinking. And it is Parla that has helped create the hospitality interior pizzazz at Stereo!
