For another year running, Parla was in Las Vegas exhibiting at one of US’s leading shows in hospitality innovation: HD Expo.
This is one of the two major trade shows Parla attends in the U.S. Following BDNY in November, this event provided another valuable opportunity to connect with our American customers and partners.
HD Expo is a customer-focused event, so it allowed Parla to present its latest products alongside more than 600 suppliers, representing over 25 product categories. The experience was both rewarding and inspiring, reinforcing our commitment to delivering design-driven, high-quality solutions to the U.S. market.
Parla had a strong team present at HD Expo lead by one of our Managing Directors Burak Oztuncman and our Senior Director Basar Bilgin.
“We believe that Parla has further strengthened its position in the U.S. market. In addition to reinforcing our existing relationships, we also received promising signals for potential new collaborations. I believe the uncertainty around tariffs on imports from the Far East to the U.S. has pushed buyers to look for new suppliers. Therefore, a lot of the visitors were actively seeking alternatives and had ongoing projects. All of them left the Parla stand impressed and inspired.” Basar Bilgin highlighted, as a testimony to Parla’s increasing assertiveness in the US market.
Our booth was an all-around show of Parla’s expertise in both bespoke and collection pieces. Alongside our in-house designs were also pieces from our collaborations with design studios worldwide.
The collaboration with Matthew Goodrich and Hines Fischer birthed the Hew furniture family, known for its unique fabric choices, playful design and elegantly carved wood details. Alongside our GOODRICH collaboration was the Phill armchair with the Spanish studio estudi{H}ac. José Manuel Ferrero seamlessly integrated his sartorial taste into the chair’s comfort and ergonomics, meeting the functional needs of hospitality.
A collaboration with one of our dearest industry friends from Turkey, Kunter Sekercioglu, was also placed at the forefront of our booth. The Fau chair is the perfect combination of finesse, understated glamour and curvy wood detailing. Last but not least, our in-house designs truly stood out and captured attention at our booth: The Hug sofa and Nigiri chairs by Betun Inci, Oyster coffee table by Enis Altinkaynak, Cora family by Seda Yetkiner and Arven, Rise and Gala from our young team members. All of these designs are impeccable assets to Parla’s collection, as they continue to win awards and gather increasing attention
each year.
A part of Parla’s ethos is to always keep pushing our boundaries. We proudly embrace our adventurous spirit as a company, continuously venturing into new markets and unexplored territories, inviting new clients to discover the unique value we bring. HD Expo and Las Vegas were new territories for us 3 years ago, and now we definitely feel at home when we are there!
