Travertine Stone and marble are natural and porous materials of sedimentary origin. Before using them as furniture parts, stones are treated with an invisible solvent-based chemical to sustain their surface integrity. Do not use any products containing acetone, ammonia, chlorine, solvents, abrasive products, and furniture polish since these might permanently damage the product’s surface, making it look opaque with marks. Glass is not scratch–resistant, so avoid dragging objects across the surface. Glass is very resistant to heat sources. Still, we recommend never placing hot objects directly on the surface since high temperature differences creates fragile spots on the surface, which could result in cracks.
